Re: depressed about registry
It happened to me also. My shower was a total surprise, but I was a registry peeker as well and there was A LOT on it still. Well it turned out that most people just bought me stuff that they liked instead of what was on my registry. All of it was beautiful, but fh and I need to return a lot of it. We got a buch of duplicates (do i really need 5 sets of mesuring cups and spoons? ) I was actually really surprised at how many people bought things that were not from our registry. But either way Fh and I still need almost all of our stuff. So we are looking for sales and stuff.
I know your shower will be wonderful. Either people are wating to the last min to get the gifts or they are just giving you stuff that is not on your registry. Either way you will have a great time

i'm guilty of doing things last minute! i always wait till maybe a day or 2 before the event to get a gift! so don't worry!!
Me too! I actually went to a shower 2 months ago and saw the fi of the girl at Target the night before...he said 'aren't you a little late?' LOL

Re: depressed about registry
Hi there wedding day twin ! I know how you feel. My shower is only a few weeks away (I know about it due to scheduling conflicts with my friends so I helped plan the date). But, as everyone said, many people do wait until the last minute to buy gifts. I am guilty of that as well . But don't take it personally. Your friends/family will come through. And, you can always use some of the money that you receive as gifts from the wedding to buy the other things that you need.

It's also possible that they bought the items elsewhere and not from where you have your registry - and then it wouldn't be removed from it.

You are getting yourself all worked up, and if you weren't a peeker, you wouldn't feel this way! Let something be a surprise!
I'm sure it will be fine.
