Okay so I apologize ahead of time for bringing everyone into my personal life but everytime I think about my wedding I am excited and cant wait, however on the other hand, I get really depressed.
You see, about a month ago out of NO WHERE (he wasnt even sick) my dad started feeling bad like he had acid reflux so he went to the doctor. Turns out they diagnosed him with Esophageal Cancer. I guess with this type of cancer it is usually not found until its too late and it spreads to other parts of the body. Turns out this is the case for my dad (he is stage 3 of 4). If you research the disease and this type of cancer the 5 year survival rate is really low (like 20%)!!! They are trying chemo now and they said if it doesnt work by February they will stop the chemo and just let him 'be comfortable'.
I have a lot of hope but my wedding is in June and I am afraid I will not be able to share this experience with him!! It ***** and theres nothing I can do to really make it better!! Sometimes life just deals you some bad hands I guess.
Okay sorry for the vent...pray for him though!!!
