We haven't discussed it yet, but I THINK I'm okay since my FH HATES being the center of attention. Although... with a few drinks in him, who knows? Crap... I'm scared. lolI hope MY photographer has the 'talk' with us! If not... I'll have to go with 'No sex for you!' as the threat! lol

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
we both agreed not to do the smushing, cause we both think it's not appropriate. Then when we went to meet with our photographer, she had that talk with us too.

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
not really... we probably discussed it once for 30 seconds. we both agreed not to smush cake in each other's faces. it's just not us, nothing to discuss really.

I talked to FH also. I told him his 1 minute of fun would ruin the $$$ on make-up and all the photos afterwards.

I am pretty sure the bride goes first. FI says I will set the mood. He will follow my lead.

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
I actually wanted to smoosh cake and DH did not. But at our engagement party I did anyways--mistake. He did not like it AND got me back by smooshing me with extra smoosh! After that I realized I did not want wedding cake all over my $$ wedding dress, hair and make-up for the $$ photog to take pictures of in front of all our friends and family. So we were very good at the wedding and now I am glad!!!!

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
We talked about it, and we're not going to smoosh it in each others faces, I hate that!!! And he's going first, so if he does it, he's going to get it really bad! And he can find his own ride to the hotel since I booked that limo!

FH and I already discussed it and we're both going to be clean when feeding the other b/c we both agreed we don't like the look of smooshed cake on each other, or our clothes.

We discussed it also, and even shook on it that it would be nice and their would be no ruining my hair and makeup. He said he didn't like the whole cake in the face thing either.

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
yes, we discussed it after watching one of those wedding video shows (Wild Weddings i think it was called) and the couple went crazy with the cake smooshing and the bride actually fell down. he insisted that we don't smoosh the cake in each other's faces. i'm glad we agreed on that one!

Re: Did you discuss the 'cake cutting' with your FH/DH?
He soo wants to smush cake on my face. I told him that if he did I would walk right out of the reception. I'm still not sure if he's going to do it, but he better not try!Welcome New Vendors
