What was the hardest one you've been on? I was on a liquid diet for two Weeks! I don't recommend it at all!

Re: Diets
omg i did that also (the master cleanse) and i was never able to complete it. pyschologically, it's just so hard to do. I wanted food sooo bad even when i wasn't hungry. i'm trying to get back to the gym (it's right up the block from my house!), but i've just been slacking.

Re: Diets
I was under medical supervision, I lost a lot of weight but man it was hard, the first thing I ate was a big plate of white rice and beans
Master cleanse was hardest but I ate all fruit for two weeks once... and some other crazy things. I usted to have such will power! Now its so hard to loose these last 5 stubborn lbs!!

Re: Diets
It's not hard per se... but I'll talk about Weight Watchers to anyone who will listen. I don't have the stamina to 'not eat' or to make radical changes.
So I stick with what works for me, Weight Watchers.

Re: Diets
I think that all diets are hard. They def. take a great degree of will power. I've only really been on WW, and that is challeneging, but it lets me eat what I want and when I want it just in moderation so that helps!

Re: Diets
I tired a few of those fad diets like atkins and south beach. never really work.
I've been doing the good old exercising 4x a week and eating healthy. Little slow but I have lost 8lbs pounds and haven't gained anything back. Plus, I've lost 3inches all my waist.

Re: Diets
Ok. I'm going to play devil's advocate. Diets are horrid. You lose weight, but you gain it right back when you go back to 'normal' eating. I think the important thing is to make sure there is no medical reason that you can't lose weight, then just monitor what you eat. It's not so much about dieting as it is about eating healthy. Just IMO.

Re: Diets
hmm i have to agree that i dont think diets work unless its for a life changing diet, like give up sugar or something for forever...otherwise for a temporary fix, i heard south beach is supposed to be really good

The 6 week body makeover by michael thurmond. it was so restrictive and took a lot of cooking and preparation.

Diets don't work... Weight Watchers does!
I've been with WW 2 years now and I am 53lbs down
It's the only thing that ever worked where I wasn;t feeling deprived. It taught me I can have the things I want but I need to learn moderation & healthier eating.

Re: Diets
Sorry to crash...
I did weight watchers for a long time and it worked but I got really bored and gained it all back.
Back in April, I started seeing a nutrition coach who helped me change my eating habits tremendously and I have made great progress ever since! I don't diet anymore. (I used to be a diet crazy person, battled with exercise bulimia..etc.) I eat 5 meals a day all healthy foods. Lean protein, healthy carbs, veggies and good fats! I love it. I don't feel deprived and I am looking and feeling much better than I ever have before! It is hard but it is not so hard that you can't do it! FM me if you have any questions!
