I understand where you are coming from. It can definitely get frustrating deciding where to go. I knew I always wanted to go to Hawaii but I am still torn because there are so many beautiful places out there. I just look at it like this is a once in a lifetime thing because once we are married and start paying for a house, kids etc. when are we going to go on a trip like this again. I figure we will splurge now and go on an awesome trip and then later on for our one year anniversary or whatever we will go somewhere else I have always wanted to go but is cheaper.
I doubt I would ever be able to save the money for Hawaii again but to go to the caribbean on the other hand, I have a better chance of being able to afford that once married.
Did you look into the Riviera Maya? I head that is great honeymoon spot and the price is right.
What about a caribbean cruise?

FH and I are going to the EDR. I don't know that one is better over the other, I think when it comes down to it they are practially the same.
Have you asked about Aruba? I stayed at the Occidental (all-inclusive) when I went and it was beautiful and the price wasn't bad.
You will find exactly what you are looking for, don't worry. No matter where you go it will be the best honeymoon ever because you will be there with the love of your life and no matter what you do your dad is always with you.

We're stuck on Mexico...so I think it's between EDR and Excellence...and you're right, they're SO similar...that's what makes it hard!!!
I feel like EDR looks more 'fun' where Excellence everything is a bit classier...and we're not so classy...
BUT we'll figure it out, it'll be a fun celebration no matter what!

The places we're debating are in Riviera Maya...we thought about a cruise but we want to have private dinners and stuff and that's not always an option on a cruise!
