Yesterday we had our holiday party, and during the formal toast, the president announced the names of the people that got engaged this year, and did not include me!
It's really frustrating because I got engaged first, and have been working at the company two years longer than the other girls. And we all work in the same department.
I know I'm overreacting, but I just feel really annoyed and to be honest, a little hurt. I guess that's what happens when you work with 200+ people.

Sorry that happened. I don't think you are overeacting and you have every right to be annoyed with the situation because I would be too.

Don't let it bother you. He's an a$#$ like mine is or he really just forgot. I didn' t even get a congratulaltions from mine lol. Yeah I didn't walk in his office and announce it bc he doesn't know I'm alive but pretty mucheveryone heard through the grape vine and said congrats. I could care less, he was never getting an invite anyway so oh well lol.
