DIY help

Hello! I want to make my own flower girl baskets and ring beare pillows. Has anyone done this? Do you have any suggestions??

Any help would be appreciated!

I plan to make my RB pillow myself. I just bought fabric from JoAnns and thick double face satin ribbon and poly fil. I have a sewing machine, but I'm sure it could be hand sewn. I think I will make an 8 x8 square...maybe 7x7. I'll let you know more when I start it.

As for the FG basket- there are a lot of easter baskets out now. You could get some tulle and ribbon to decorate it

I made my ring pillow out of ivory and black satin

No basket for the FG she is carrying a kissing ball which I made to look similar to my Bo-K

It was a lot of fun making them! My ring pillow is 8x8 HTH

my grandmother is doing our pillow for us ...i bought a small pillow at ac moore and fabric at jo anns

and then some ribbon to add ...

FG baskets should be pretty simple

I bought a plain FG basket at Michaels for $7, and am decorating it myself with tulle and flowers. I will probably do the same for the RB pillows
