I need a DJ still for my wedding. I am very specific about what I want and don't want.I'm looking for a DJ for 4 hours. I want to be able to give the a list of songs that I want played, and likewise, a list of songs that will not be played. I don't want a lot of talking and I DO NOT want any giveaways...no blow up toys or leis or toys or smoke machines or anything like that. I just want a really classy, professional DJ. I know that this is demanding, but I don't want anything remotly cheesey. Does anyone know of a good fit?

He's low key, classy, and totally respects the vibe you envision for your reception. He used to be a club DJ in NYC, and does an urban/alternative/retro vibe very well. But, I bet he can accommodate any genre......

TOMMY'S TUNES! I used them for my july 7 wedding! they were AWEEEESSSOME! They actually did Jamie Lynn Siglers wedding (from the sopranos). Reasonably priced, got everything right, my playand do not play list,. we had an MC and a regular DJ, and the MC's name was Joey or Joe E. (LOL), AND HE WAS AWWWWWEEESOMMME!!!!!!!!!!!!! he had thr whole dance floor going all night long!

LI Sound is perfect for what you're looking for!!!!!! They were SO professional and really top-notch quality, never in-your-face or anything like that. If you look at my pics we did have giveaways but that was brought in by us, not them.

You sound exactly like me. I am using Energy Entertainment in Plainview. They were reccommended by 4 of my friends (2 of which weddings I was in). The price seems pretty reasonable too.
