Do I have to put fh parents name on the invitation?

Do I have to put fh parents name on the invitation?

I was thinking about only putting my parents, but then I started to feel bad.....

Did any of you just put your parents name giving you away to dear fh?

I feel torn. But my parents are the ones who contributed about 95% towards the wedding.

Thanks

we are putting his parents names on even though they are not contributing anything, except maybe the rehearsal dinner.

it will read like this

mr and mrs x request the honor of your presence at their daughter

jane ann

to john michael

son of

mr and mrs y

I did the same thing and my parents are paying for 95% of the wedding also.

We did not include FH's parents' names -just my parents.

We did 'Together with their parents', b/c we both have divorced and it is too many names..

That's how we are doing it too. My parents are paying for the 99% of the wedding.

I did 'together with our parents' because my parents are divorced.

Havent really decided yet. Since my mom is paying we will probably just have her name on the invite (we did do son of . . . on the engagement announcements though)

You don't have to . We used Together with our parents. It's really up to u.

I went traditional with only my parents names.

ditto.

Neither side is contributing to the wedding. It's just a show of respect for us. *shrug* no biggie.

Most definately... in my case the FH parents are contributing but even if they weren't their name would be on it.... i think it is tacky and rude

my mother had a friend that this happened too..although she did contribute...they did not put her name on the invite and she was very offended and upset

it is both of you egtting married
