I don't want to sound snobbish here and I'm normally not this anal about things, but I really hate when people ask to see my e-ring and then just start touching it! Like, people have pulled my hand towards them, spun the ring around to see it at different angles, etc... And it really gets to me! I feel like... look, but don't touch!
Has this happened to anyone else or has anyone else been annoyed by it?

Yes they do... i actually like getting compliments on my ering. If they touch it... whatever it's no big deal to me.

OMFG I have a friend that everytime she looks at it she puts her finger on top of my diamond, I have no clue why she does this but I get her fingerprint on my ring and it pisses me off.....one of my other friends noticed her doing this to my ring and another one of our engaged friends ring and asked what is up with that?
It's bad enough that I'm anal about having my ring clean but then to have a fingerprint on it....that just makes me nuts....
On a cute note....Fh's 4 yr old nephew (our ring boy) looked at my ring the other day and pressed the top of it like it was a button and something was supposed to open if he pressed it.....he stared at it for a few seconds after he pressed it and then just shrugged his shoulders and walked away...FH and I were hysterical laughing

YESS, this happened to me once. This girl like rubbed her thumb over the top of my diamond. It was super weird...like why?????

A couple of people have spun my ring and said it was for good luck...and ONE person did put their finger on my diamond. Ugh, i had to clean it right away!!!
Has anyone asked to try on your ring?! A few of my friends asked to try mine on. Can we say BAD LUCK?? lol

No one's done it yet, they just hold my hand and look. Except my Mom of course, who took out her jeweler's glass and gave it a full inspection. She's unbelievably into jewelry though, with a ridiculous collection, and she does that with everything she has too . . . . If the FH had seen her doing it though, I can't imagine what he would have thought!!!!

i work as an eye glass saleswoman so people complement my ring every day which is really cool but everyday little kids touch my ring which i really dont mind...
but what is really cool is that for my birthday my cousin and his fiancee bought me a steam cleaner for my jewelery ...so every few days i clean my ring... woot !!

Oh hell-to-the-no! I have had maybe all of two people touch my ring and I've told them on the spot that it's not acceptable. I too, hate finger prints on my diamond. And to try it on (clutch the pearls)!!!!???!!! oh goodness no. I've always been territorial of my things on general but people's ignorance really boggles my mind at times.
