What annoys me is not only do people DO this but they also take my ring and put their fingers around my diamond to see how big it is. I think it's disgustingly tacky! I have had this done at least 5 times!

Most people just ask to see it and don't touch... but whenever FH looks at it he puts his thumb right on the diamond. I yell at him but since he got it for me I can't get too mad.

Oh hell-to-the-no! I have had maybe all of two people touch my ring and I've told them on the spot that it's not acceptable. I too, hate finger prints on my diamond. And to try it on (clutch the pearls)!!!!???!!! oh goodness no. I've always been territorial of my things on general but people's ignorance really boggles my mind at times.

I know. Especially right after you clean it! But usually when they spin it, its an irish good luck thing. 3 times to the right. At least thats what i was told when several people asked if they could see it & then proceeded to do that spinning thing! So for good luck im ok with it but just to touch it or my stone ugh it annoys me too!

Yes!! All the time and I really don't like it!
I was at Macys on Monday and the clerk behind the counter grabbed my hand and pulled it towards her....mind you she didn't say anything before she did this. So I got really freaked out!!!

A few people have touched my ring but it is usually only close friends and family so I don't mind at all....I touch my ring all the time and I definitely do not clean it like I should ( ) so it does not really matter either way!

My FSIL, who has annoyed me in many many ways over the past couple of days, tries to take it off so she can try it on. UM IT IS NOT YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they do... i actually like getting compliments on my ering. If they touch it... whatever it's no big deal to me.

i agree with this..I once saw a bridezilla where the tuxedo rental lady touched the brides ring and she flipped out...i thought the bride made an absolute fool of herself! its not like she touched her boobs! LOL

That has happened a couple times and it def annoys me. I automatically pull away, and not even to be rude but cuz its apparently my natural instict when someone touches my stone!!

Whats actually cute though is FH wakes me up in the morning to say goodbye by trying to slip the ring off my finger while i'm sleeping and when my eyes pop open he says 'c'mon, its my turn to wear it today' i think thats cute, but just cuz its him. he cant even get that thing past the tip of his pinky lollllll
