Do we have any wedding crashers??

I crashed one last year. GIGI's has two weddings at a time and the other wedding was playing SALSA. LOVE IT!! Well, the other party were of the darker kind and me and my girlfriend the only whites in the room got caught on video tape. Trust me we stood out. Thank goodness the people were cool as hell b/c we were obviously busted. They invited us to stay for the rest of the wedding.

the darker kind meant darker than me. The whole point of bringing it up is that I was the ONLY WHITE LOOKING PERSON in the room. Hence, why I was spotted!!! I did not want to name any particular race b/c that is unimportant. If I had a problem with the race I wouldn't have crashed it and stay when they invited me.

I will be crashing Christine's wedding after mine is over, BUT she knows about it and is cool with it, even though I will still be in my gown and all and FH will be in his tux.

So in that sense, I guess you could say I will be semi-crashing?

On a different note-I've recently heard that wedding crashers have become so commonplace since the movie came out that people have actually setup a couple place cards as 'Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Crasher'.

Good for a laugh, but I don't think I would do that.

I agree it is a foot in the mouth but you have to learn etiquette on these boards and it is very offensive.

That just made me so mad... I am sorry if you didn't mean it... but you need to understand that this is an open forum...

I am as white as snow... but obviously my FH isn't... I get so upset how freakin stupid ppl are when they describe ppl... Especially when the beat around the bush... You could have done the politically correct thing...

But obviously there are some ppl that won't ever end racism b/c of ppl who don't know how to speak properly.

Not trying to start anything but that is a RUDE comment if I ever heard one!
