I crashed one last year. GIGI's has two weddings at a time and the other wedding was playing SALSA. LOVE IT!! Well, the other party were of the darker kind and me and my girlfriend the only whites in the room got caught on video tape. Trust me we stood out. Thank goodness the people were cool as hell b/c we were obviously busted. They invited us to stay for the rest of the wedding.

the darker kind meant darker than me. The whole point of bringing it up is that I was the ONLY WHITE LOOKING PERSON in the room. Hence, why I was spotted!!! I did not want to name any particular race b/c that is unimportant. If I had a problem with the race I wouldn't have crashed it and stay when they invited me.

not for nothing, but don't a lot of people make a huge deal out of seeing another bride on their wedding day....let alone AT their wedding..
Janna, maybe you should at least consider changing into another gown...let Christine have her full 5 hours, since you are getting yours, ya know..

I agree! One of the worst things you can say to someone that is upset or offended is that they are blowing it out of proportion or calm down.
That is rule of thumb. Joyous add that one to your list of things to be learned.
While we are on the subject of PC - did you know that 'rule of thumb' is SUCH an unknown politically incorrect term???
It stems from back in the olden days, men were not allowed to beat their wives with anything wider than their thumb...
Hence - rule of thumb...
I haven't been able to use that term ever since...

I'm sure Janna was joking...no one would think of showing up at another's wedding (even if an LIW buddy) in full tux and gown regalia.
