Do you ever feel like you are forgetting something?

Do you ever feel like you are forgetting something?

I know I still need to buy a whole bunch of stuff. Like Save The Dates, invites, cake cutter and server. But I still feel like I need to do so much more. Do you all have a list? I am too lazy to do a search.

Jen, I have been keeping a list forever. As I do something on the list, I cross it off and then reprint it.

I always feel like I am forgetting things. If I had a list, I would probably still forget stuff to put on it.

i always feel like i am forgetting everything..lol..the check lists that you can get from books and online dont remind you about the small things. the big things are easy to remember.

My MOH and I sat down and wrote out everything that I need to have done, need to get, etc. and when I would like it done by. She is great. She created an excel sheet and put everything in it. She even seperated things and prioritized it by the date it needs to be done by. I still feel like I am forgetting everything and way behind schedule but, it does help! :)

I made a long list/budget excell sheet.

I cross them off, as well as keep track of how much I spent as I go along.

It's tough to find any missing from your lists -- I've got just 10 days to go, so I'm focused on all the stupid last-minute things:

** Vendor phone numbers (in case there's a last minute issue)

** Extra Stockings (In case yours run)

**Shout Wipes & Chalk (in case you get a stain on your gown)

**Throwaway bouqet if doing the toss (I left my sister's in the limo when I was her MOH -- Boy was she ****ed!)

** Matches, napkins, other small favors for the table (My best friend forgot the personalized napkins & matchbooks at home for her wedding.. what a waste!)

** Send readers their readings before wedding -- Plus, print out readings in large font and bring to church (it's a lot easier on the reader)

** Waxing / Tanning / teeth bleaching (get that personal grooming out of the way)

** Comfortable shoes (a lot of brides change into slippers -- but that means the hem of your dress will drag. A friend gave me this tip -- buy platform sneakers the same height as your shoes --> all the comfort w/o dirt on your hem)

** Figure out who'll take the stuff home from the reception hall / who'll drive you to the airport...

** For Pet Owners --> arrange boarding for your pet

**hankie (I don't know about you -- but I'm a sap so I'll be crying up there... and I'd rather not blow my nose on my DH's jacket... )

**Breakfast the day of (something light, that won't get you messy, that you don't have to spend time cooking. My sister got an Egg McMuffin from the drivethrough on the way back from the hairdresser's the morning of her wedding...)

** Any additional decorations (I got a bunch of bride & groom stuff as gifts: teddy bears, a snowglobe, and statue --> I'm gonna use them to decorate the placecard & sign-in table)

** Shop & pack for honeymoon (My FI had virtually no swim trunks -- it was a nightmare finding som at this time of year)

** If you are spending the night in a hotel, then leaving immediately for HM -- figure out what you're doing w/ your dress (I'm still a little stumped on this -- my poor MOH is gonna be a busy girl the day after, cause I thinks she's gonna have to pick it up for me...)

** For HM -- travel stuff (neck pillows, book, walkman, sleep mask -- Overseas: passport, visa, converter plugs, guidebooks...)

** Caketopper

Extra set of maps and directions cards for anyone who forgot theirs.

Arrange a place/ suggest places for quests to spend the time inbetween the church and the reception (if applicable)

Have list for photographer/or designate someone to hold a list of photos you would like taken to make sure none or no one is forgotten

Make 'day of' and 'day before' agendas so you don't forget anything you want to get done

Have gown and tux bags for after the reception

Have a personal camera with extra film

Have a camera for rehersal and dinner

MARRIAGE LICENSE !!! LOL

All vendor contact information, as well as copies of any contracts to avoid any problems

If leaving for honeymoon that night or next day, make sure everything you need is all put together, esp. passports, drivers license, tickets, agendas, etc.
