I am actually friends with 5 exes. 4 were at the wedding, 2 were in the wedding party! DH gets along well with all of them. One of them is a mutual friend who encouraged us to get together, one was my first boyfriend when I was 15 - we dated for 5 months, but have been best friends for the last 9 1/2 years since we broke up. Those were the two in the wedding party.

DH only has two exes. One of them we have stopped talking to b/c we hate her husband and can't stand spending time with them. The other one was at our wedding - she and I get along well.

Yep, I do. It was the perfect relationship, at the wrong time. We kept in contact, but I moved on. He passed away about 6 weeks ago.

i have one of those the timing was just wrong and he was too immature. we found each other again a few years later and starting trying to sort through feelings and he was killed i love my dh and im glad that i met him but i will always have those feelings for my ex

i still do.. and i talk to/ and get along greatly with his FW... and theyll be at our wedding My FH doesnt mind at all. He knows that i conosider him one of my close friends, and he knew that from the beginning. Maybe if we hadnt spoken since we broke up, and then all of a sudden just started talking again last month, it would seem weird, but we were always friends more than anything else.

i think alot of it, in general, depends on how long ago the relationship was... and what kind of relationship it was.

Me too...and as sick as it sounds, I kind of like that I know he will always wish he had me!

Yes, my high school sweetheart. I still think about him from time to time. I broke up with him, realized I couldn't be without him, but by the time I realized it, he didn't want me any more.

Nope. They all went away, and I am kinda glad they did. I'm moving back to my hometown soon and am afraid of bumping into him but who knows, maybe he moved on.
Im so happy with DH and to think I didnt even want to date him 'back in the day'!

There was one that I thought for a long time was 'the one that got away'. But now that I'm further removed from the situation, I see that there was a reason we were in each others' lives at that time and that the relationship had run its course. Without that relationship, I wouldn't have been able to have such a good one with FH so I'm glad it 'got away' but I'm so thankful that it happened at all!

Yes, but he was yesterdays news when I met FH. He was like the male version of me! We had a great time together and unfortunately I was stupid and cheated on him- I wasn't sure if we were 'committed' apparently we were- we eventually hooked up again! He's a great person- but I love FH SOOOOOOOOOOO much!
