Do you let other women try on your e-ring?

Fh and I had ths convo last night. I personally don't think I would ever let someone try on my e-ring. I've met strangers who do this all the time. When you compliment them they are like 'you wanna try it on?'

Have you ever let anyone try on you ring? I am so superstitious sometimes. I would be freaked out and think it was bad luck. hmmm..

I've never really let anyone try it on... but I do take it off so people can get a better look at it (just more comfortable for me than having them stare at my fat fingers lol). None of them have actually put it on though.

I let my friends try it on... and i think my SIL would try it on periodically when it was hiding in her room before DH popped the question...

I let my MOH and BM try it on. One wanted to try it on to get an idea of her ring size.

I'm not a big believer in bad luck, etc if someone else tries it on.

I let everyone try it on. I take it as a compliment.

I let my best friend try it on once, but I don't think I'd trust anyone else.

Never...I think it is rude when people ask if they can try it on...

someone once told me it was bad luck to have people try on your ring before you are married, so I've never done it. I've taken it off to have people look at it, but never have they put it on their finger! haha

No way! That was a conversation I had with a friend, because she wanted to see what it looked like on her, of which I told her NO. I'm not superstitious, but the ring is a symbol of his love towards me. If I allow anyone else to wear it/ try it on, what does that say about my love for him. I think it is something precious, you don't give to anyone. No one else understood that but my friend's husband agreed with me. In any case, everyone has a different opinion on the matter.
Good luck to you!

i get asked to 'see it' all the time. no one really ever put it on except my little cousin but i watched her super closely haha. most people just take time to examine it which i dont mind. i take it as a compliment.

Just my BF, anyone else no way.
When I first got it I took it off so people could see the detail better but my FH almost had a heart attack .
Oh yeah and since I have had my ring it's great he want's to do the dishes he doesn't want me to get the ring dirty and of course the fear of it going down the drain.
What a great FH.

No way! I think it's so rude of people to even ask that.

I let my friends try it on all the time. Most of them are in the process of getting engaged, so they want to get an idea of ring size... and what not.

I wear a size four ring so it doesn't fit many people, BUT I feel a little weird even taking it off for my jeweler to clean it, so I really wouldn't want other people trying it on.

I let my sister try it on, but a random stranger? hell no!

I let my girlfriends and family try it on. I don't believe in superstitions. It's my most favorite possession- but it still is only a ring. To me it's not bad luck!

I think the only person that asked was my sister (mattandtricia07) and I let her...also my wedding band so she could get an idea of how two rings would look...... I
