Do you let your FH see your dress?

I have just starting looking at dresses and have cut outs of styles I like throughout our apartment. I also have a couple of pictures that my sister took when we were in the shops. They're saved on the computer that my FH and I share. How hard should I be trying to keep my dress a secret? Or should I just forget it and show him?

I showed him a picture of the dress with the model. I won't show him with me in it.

Well, I went so far as to give him a magazine and tell him my dress was in it, and he had to figure out which one it was It drove him crazy. And, of course, my dress wasn't really in it
Then I would show him pictures of dresses I supposedly didn't like, then he would say, ewww, yeah, that one's ugly, and then I would tell him that was my dress. I TORTURED him during the dress process!
In the end, he never saw a picture of my dress. It's the ONLY thing I've ever been able to keep from him.

I showed it to him when I was looking through magazines and that one jumped out

but he has no idea what it looks like now and FH is a person that cant like anything until it is on me. So Ill show him a shirt and he will say it is hideous.. then ill be etting ready to go out and he will tell me it is hot... and has NO recollection that it is the same shirt. So in the end, yes he did see it once, no he didnt know I got it, and yes he will nbe surprised lol

No won't show him or tell him but he knows me SOOO well when he looks through magazines he sees a dress that he thinks I like and looks at me with these eyes like he knows it is the one I love and of course he is right!! But I won't tell him

no way.. i tried to tell him about it cause I just picked it yeterday and he told me to stop he wanted to be suprised.

my dress is a secret. only my mom, FMIL, fh's aunt and my mom's best friend know what it looks like!

No way, I keep it tradtional by letting him see it for the first time when I walk down the aisle...I don't want him knowing or seeing anything I am wearing that day.

I showed him the day I found the one I wanted! It's a picture of a model so I figured:
1) I don't look like that in the dress
2) The wedding was over a year away at the time, so I don't think he'a going to remember!
3) He's my best friend - I wanted his opinion.

He will still be surprised when he sees ME as his bride - it's only a dress. JMO

I agree 100%...I showed him pics of it, but I feel like nothing will compare to when he sees me the actual day all done up walking down the aisle.

Not a chance. He will see when i walk down the aisle. Its so hard because i get his opinion on everything, but not this time.

Yup. He's even seen the pics of me at my fitting.
I have no worries at all about it as it just won't compare to the first time he sees me in it that day with everything done up!
He's my best friend, why wouldnt' i share it with him?
Theres no superstition in it for me and i know he'll be just as blown away when he sees me for the first time that morning.
