Do you remember the 1st time...

FH said I love you? Or did you say I love you first?

For me we were leaving a Hockey Game and I had been wanting to say I love you to him but I didnt know how he felt at that time and I was afraid to say it and freak him out lol.. but to my surprise while we were walking out of the game he hugged me from behind and said 'I love you'

He was sooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! <3

The first time I met FH I had a bf and things were totally complicated but when I broke up with the ex we were 'seeing' eachother. We were out one night and I did something to tease him and said 'I'm just kidding, you know I love you' and it totally slipped out and I probably turned every shade of red after that That night before he kissed me goodnight he said 'I don't know if you were kidding or not when you said it but I really do love you'

Soooo cute, Michelle!!!

I definitely remember the first time. It was during the first week we met. We were laying on my bed just chatting away, and he told me how he's never met someone so amazing, and how in the short time he's known me he knows I'm the one for him and then told me he loves me. I don't think I told him back that same day, it took me a few more days and then I fessed up :P

The first time I ever said it to him he didn't hear it... which is good because it was only FIVE days into the relationship LOL!!!

But that's okay because the NEXT day he slipped and said it... and then followed it with 'oh, i'm sorry, that was premature' and I burst out laughing... and then nuzzled up and said it back to him

It was sweet hehe!

FH texted me 'I think I am falling In love with you' when he was sitting in the back seat of my dads truck and I was in the front seat... he then said it for real the next day on august 10 2008.

two days later he took me out to a nice dinner, got me flowers, and said at the end of dinner, 'oh by the way, you know I will always love you'

I said it first. We didn't have the most perfect start after a like 6 months and went on a 'break'. We started back up, but not officially. In that whole time. Thought he felt strongly for me since we still spoke pretty much everyday. On my birthday that year, he came over and with my gift was a mushy card. Was reading it and crying (since we had been through some troubling times) and at the end the card said, I have wanted to say this for some time, I love you!

Oh I remember... and we were both drunk LOL. We were outside Morrison's on Metropolitan Avenue and he kept looking at me like he wanted to say something and then finally he said it. I had been wanting to say if for a while but couldn't get up the nerve so I'm so glad he said it first. I asked him the next morning if he remembered what he said the night before in his drunken state and he said I sure do and repeated it

My fh did the same exact thing. I felt so stupid. Come to find out he was nervous. A few MONTHS later him and I were on the phone and he ended the conversation with, I love you, and I was so shocked I didn't really know what to say, he said, 'did you hear me' and then I snapped out of it, and said, I love you too.

Fh said it first. I was getting ready to leave to go to his house to go to VA to see his friends and before I hung up the phone he said I love you. And it wasn't far into the relationship either. From that moment on I def knew he was my one and only :o)

Awww all the stories are so cute.

The first time he said it was the night he bought his new car and came to show me, he had this cd playing w/ all these love songs that he made for me and at the end of one of the songs he whispered that he loved me and of course I was like what did you say and he came close and said it again in my ear

I had wanted to say I love you to my FH for about a month but didn't know if he felt the same. One night I was hanging out with my friend and he got off work late and asked if I would stop by on my way home which I did. We were standing outside talking and I just couldn't hold it in any longer and I told him I loved him and all I saw was a look of relief and he smiled up at me and said I love you too. My FH is very shy and quiet when it came to all of the 'big steps' in the relationship. But he was so happy I said it first cause he was so nervous if I felt the same.

aww love this!

i remember FH and I went to the spa that day and he went to his baseball game. I sat and watched him play and then he dropped me home. As I was leaving the car, we say goodbye to each other and then he popped the I love you! I've been meaning to say it but i was so scared, what if it's too soon. I was so glad he went for it!

We were 16 and we were in the car (my dad was driving) us to the mall so we can get dinner for our month anniversary...this sounds really pathetic...he wrote I love you on a text and showed it to me and then repeated it later that night. I said it back but I really didn't mean it I was 16!!!!!
