some people view the current tapping into the reserves as a form of involuntarily and unnecessary 'draft'...

isn't that the point of being in the reserves?

reserves = last resort, that is where the debate starts to kick in...there are those who believe that this was not necessary given the circumstances.

So whats the point of having a 'reserve'? Reserve was never 'LAST RESORT' because frankly... all military action is always considered last resort.

They enlisted... anyone what thinks they are being 'drafted' when they are a reserve... joined the reserves for the entirely wrong reason in the first place.

Where do I do my grocery shopping? Well I live in Oakland Gardens Queens... so I normally just go to the local Keyfood on 73rd ave or Waldbaums on Franny Lew and LIE.

But recently I have been going to the Stop And Shop on Hillside by Little Neck Parkway. Not bad there.

Yeah I was there around 4-6pm I believe or something along those lines.... hauling around a huge cart of groceries. Why you saw me?

in war time..the reserves is the last place to want to be in the grand scheme. The reason why is becasue it is easier to activate a reserve unit than send off entire squadrons from a base. Our bases are just like a little communitues. We have firemen, police officers, admin, etc so they dont send all the squadrons from one base..they send some and the rest come from the reserves instead of disrupting an everyday routine. think back to units being activated for this war..there were a crapload of reserve units activated..also think of natural disasters..you see more national guard and reservists than you do active duty personel being called upon.

Not confused... more of a PERFECTIONIST. I was looking for a big cereal holder. I destroyed my last one (put it in the dishwasher and it melted the plastic ).

So I wanted something decent that would hold up. Had to read all the labels to make sure it was 'dishwasher safe'.

LOL.... if you want to talk about confused... thats my FW. She will be the first to admit she is a horrible grocery shopper. I always come home with the 'good stuff'.

Believe it or not... I have had many people before come up and say that. People that know me from online... and know me from the bar. And yeah they just usually ask if I am the infamous 'DjPiLL'. Hahahahah

I usually just say yeah and whats up.

Maybe next time I am back there (I usually grocery shop once every two-three weeks).
