Do you think this is tacky to put in an invitation?
My co-worker is trying to convince me that I should have 'Monetary gifts preferred' printed on each invitation. I think it's tacky, I don't want to insult people. What do you think?

I think that is really tacky and if I ever recieved an invite with that on it I would decline.

I work with someone who got an invite to a wedding last year and it said 'no wrapped gifts'

See! I was definitely right!!! I keep telling her no and she keeps insisting that I should do it! I know I would be insulted if I got that! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being overly sensitive...

is she married? if not, ask her if she would honestly want her guests to only come her wedding for the gifts.
