my mil doesn't care...
MY mother, on the other hand, is like the woman you describe. My mother is very narrow minded and old fashioned when it comes to sex before marriage.
She expects everyone on the planet to be a virgin until marriage.
My mom is the same way! I tell her that when I stay over at Fh's place he sleeps on the couch and every time we go away together, she wants us to get separate rooms!
I couldn't do that! If anyone in my family was telling me how I can't sleep with my FH until our wedding day I would tell them to MYOB! My FMIL pretty much told my FH that i'm the girl you date, not marry. isn't that nice!

That's SO rude. I think that might be how Fh's parents thought of it too. they LOVED me until they realized we were serious about each other, then their tune totally changed. With my mom it's a religious thing, when I was younger she had control, like if I didn't swear to sleep in someoen else's room I wasn;'t allowed to visit FH at college. I never got over eing scared of her. As it is I get lectured every time I stay at FH's and get this guily trip 'you live HERE' etc. AUGH

I know how to fix your problem. Move in with your FH! Your an adult, she has no right to tell you want to do. I can 't stand people who try to control their adult children!

We were on a don't ask don't tell policy. Even after marriage, I'm still on that policy with both my mom and MIL

All of these women who think their daughters or daughters in law should be virgins only say so because THEY were. I won't venture to guess how many partners we each had but I will venture to say that many of us have had at least more than one. That being the case, they are probbaly jealous that THEY didnt get to fu*k around more because NOW their husbands are lousy lovers and/or they have no basis for comparison. There - that should ruffle a few feathers!

honestly i'm still a virgin this is my personal choice. However FMIL probably thinks we're having sex since we have gone on vacations together. She doesnt seem to care, shes not one of those prudes. Heres the best part though..my mom. You woudl think she would be happy i'm still a virgin, but she actually has peer pressured me in reverse saying oh cmon just do it already or if i'm pmsing she'll say you need to go get laid lol its hysterical.

Thats funny, when I was single, my mom used to tell me to go have an affair. I wasn't a virgin, but she wanted me to go and have a good time!

My own mom expects that I am a virgin, even though we live together. His mom doesn't say anything at all.
As for your mother in law, I thnk she would find fault with anyone, so just do your own thing and be happy!

You may be right. I think a lot of moms don't want our generation to be more 'free' than they were. In my situation it's opposite. Neither of our moms were virgins when they got married. When my mom acts nuts my aunt tells me to tell her 'don't be a hypocrite' LOL
