I just read this thread and I am all choked up..One because I loooove dogs and TWO I have a Boston Terrier also and I absolutely looooooove BT's..

It breaks my heart when our pets arent feeling well....I will br praying for your family and Gizmo!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: Deniro (our Bostone terrier) will pray also!

*** UPDATE ***

Gizmo is in surgery as I type this.

He had a sonogram, and they found a foreign mass in his stomach. The vet is 'going in' to either remove the mass (if it's something he ate), or at least let us know whether it's a tumor, or a cyst, etc.

I'm nervous!!!

As of right now, he'll remain at the hospital until Monday -- if the results of the surgery aren't the greatest, he'll be there longer...

and of course, they always warn you of the possibility of him not making it through the surgery..... that made me cry.

Thanks again everyone, I can't believe what a wonderful support system I've found on here.

Oh, let us know what happens Hopefully it was something he ate. My cousin's dog was so so sick and they finally found out it was a sock. Lets hope its a similar thing that can easily be romoved.

yay!!!!! my little Mo is out of surgery- there was a blockage in his stomach/bowels.... apparently 7 years of chewing pieces off of his Kong toys and munching on his blankies built up, and formed a 'mass'. Gross, right?

He's still sedated, but we're PRAYING that this solves the problem and there will be no more vomiting.

Oh man, I hope this is it!!! If he's OK after the surgery, we get him back on MONDAY!!!
