Don't despair. Most of the RH halls INSIST on wrapping the unused meals up and making you take it home. Fox Hollow specifically told me if we fall under minimum that we could get all the extra meals to go.

If there are any extra I'm going to wrap them for those who have long rides home or something.

i thought i was the only one thinking about the left overs. i discussed this with my FH and he was histerical like i was crazy. Im glad im not the only one thinking about all the extra yummy food that may be left over.

most halls have minimums because they want to be guaranteed to receive a minimum amount of money from you. a lot of times they will throw in something else in place of the extra meals -- choc fountains, seafood bar, an extra CH station, etc. something else that would cost you the same amount.

i think it depends on the hall w/ respect to packing things up to go. NRC will -- they said they will pack us up something to bring to our hotel room

lets sayy you have a minimum of 150 people for the wedding... and only 100 come... but u still have to pay for those other 50.....can you take that food home??? i mean *** thats hundress of $$ GONE. I'd want alllllllllll the food left over. why should they make out like bandits? I mean, they are anyway but still...

I dont know if that has ever ben requested..

I'd like to know your thoughts on this

I heard a country club lets you. they actually tell you to bring trays to take the food or donate it. Rhs dont let you because if it wasnt cooked right and something happens to you they dont want to be responsible.

I asked my BM if a few people didnt show up can we take that food home and this is what I was told. But, you can take what is left over on your plate.
