Oh- I had budgeted $1600 for dress and $250 for veil.
I spent $2100 on dress, but they threw in a veil. My alterations will be about $300, and I will just need a simple slip underneath

I assume you mean dress + alterations ... (so I answered without veil, accessories etc cause there I am sure it will add up). So exciting!

My budget was $1000-$2000, but we blew it. After tax and alterations- my dress came to $3000.

my mom purchased the dress for me so I had her set the budget. She said try to keep it under $2k and the dress came out to $1650 before alterations and alterations cap at $250.

i said 1000 -2000. my dress was $1995....barely in my budget.
she only showed me dresses in my budget, which was helpful.

i'm trying to stay under 2K went dress shopping 2day and found that I loved for under 1K aunts paying for it so need her approval first crossing my fingers!
