As many of you know I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections last week . Ive been having some doubts about my dress lately. I looked back at pictures of me in it and I really think the dress looks weird on me. I don't know if it is because the dress is way too long on me and in the pictures I am not standing on the pedestal so it looks kind of bunched in the waist area and it is not falling the way I like or the way it looks on the model. I also didn't have any crinolin (sp) on so I dont know if that had anything to do with it because to me the dress looks flat in the front.
Im not really sure if any of you have had this happened but I am wondering if any of you switched dresses or just had doubts about the dress you bought after you got it and what you did about it.
ETA I added some pictures. THe first two I think it looks weird, To me it looks bunchy, I dont know. The third I was on the pedestal. Do you think it will look 'fuller' when its not dragging on the floor. Id like it to look like it does on the model in the last picture. PLease please be honest, because I dont think they ordered the dress yet and I might be able to switch.
its not your size so it may look weiird when u try on the sample...

Can you go back and try it on again? That might help you decide how you really feel.
I've read on here so many girls having doubts, and many switching gowns. I think in the end, only you can know. When you tried it on did you get the gut feeling that its 'the one'?

First, your dress is GORGEOUS and you looked BEAUTIFUL!!!
It's very normal to feel what you are feeling through posts I have read and due to my own experience. I absolutley love my dress! But, I also was looking at pic's non-stop thinking the same things as you. I actually had to go back and see it again and fell in love with it all over again. Prior to that, I did think, should I have looked more? It wasn't the 1st dress - so I had something to compare and it was the 'feeling' I had with my dress that I didn't have with the others. So, just remember how the dress made you feel. Maybe, go back and try it on again, thats what I did - and it made me feel a million times better. But, you are not alone - I was obsessing over my dress.
Your dress is beautiful and it fit you perfectly! I would go back and try it on again, I think it will make you feel better!

I've seen that dress on someone..it's an eve of milady...and it's absolutly stunning! I just looked in your album and rest assured it won't look that way after the crinolin is put it/ when you alter the length. It's a ball gown, and it'll come out much fuller when all is said and done!

I just looked at your pics and it's DEFINITELY too big! I had the same problem with my Eve dress. I'm only 4'11', so even when I did stand on the pedestal, it was still too long! You also definitely need a crinoline under it because Eve gowns are ballgowns, so it's not laying properly without the crinoline.
I think it's gorgeous though!

The sample is big on you but I personally think you look stunning in that dress. Its gorgeous....I think its natural to have doubts afterwards, after all this is a huge decision. If you really feel uncomfortable maybe you could call and ask to come in again and try on the sample.

ITA
when i put my dress on I couldnt talk, had tears in my eyes and knew right away that it was the one but later that night i couldnt sleep and felt so anxious that maybe I made the wrong choice.....i think i felt this way bc even though I got that 'this is the one' feeling, I wasnt expecting it. Buying your wedding dress is a huge deal and I think its natural to want to be absolutely sure that you picked the right one and its easy to doubt yourself. When i look at the pics of me in my dress there are a million things that I can point out that i dont like but thats bc its not made to fit my body yet. Try to think of how you felt when you put it on the first time and not how you feel when you lok at the pictures....i also think if you go back to try it on or other dresses you're going to get even more confused...HTH

Yes I loved it in the store. When I got home and saw the pictures, it just looked different to me. Especailly the ones where I am not on the pedestal, which is 99% of my pictures. The only one i have on the pedestal is the last one in my album.

It's natural to doubt such a huge decision... I think you need to think back and remember how you felt when the dress was on you!! When a dress isn't your size, it looks totally off... don't worry, it will look amazing once it is sized to you!

Re: Dress Doubts - Please help!
i bought a dress and had major doubts later that same night so i cancelled it the next day.
now i have a new dress ordered that i loved but have had some doubts from time to time...but then i look at the pics and realize why i ordered it. I feel like i cant wait for it to come in bc once i put it on ill love it all over again.
that being said....if u are realllly unhappy about it, i would def go try it on again and see how you feel. If you dont love it then def cancel it. The store might give u a credit towards another dress....even if you lose money, you want to be happy with ur dress!
edited to add: I think you look gorgeous in that dress! once it is the right size/length it will look great!! dont worry

Thanks, Did you find it was bunching up like that and laying all funny? To me, it looks nothing like the picture. Did yours?

Re: Dress Doubts - Please help!
I think its a beautiful dress! Like everyone said, it will look so much better when it is the right size. I had dress regret too right after I purchased mine. I think its normal. There are so many dresses out there and I think we may find ourselves constantly wondering if we made the right choice. Someone on here gave me great advice to trust my instincts and that there was a reason I was drawn to my dress in the first place. Don't worry- you'll love it when you try it on in your size!
