HI Girls! I know some of you have read my previous post about having regrets about my dress. Well I took many of your opinions and advice and decided to go and try on the dress again. Well when I called my bridal shop they said my actual dress was in (very early). I was excited and I felt relieved at that. However, when I tried on the dress I had a sense of dissapointment. Don't get me wrong the dress is very nice...but I just don't think it is my dress. I didn't get that feeling. I am now just worried what to do. The bridal shop woman made me pay for the dress in full when she sensed I wasn't entirely pleased. So the dress is mine and I don't know what to do. My other issues with the dress are that it is off the shoulder and it was restricting my arms also it weighed a ton and was pulling me down. It is slightly big in the top and that is the only alteration needed. But what do I do with this dress I am not completly excited about wearing on my wedding day???
I will post pics later...my MOH was with me and has to send them to me online when she gets home from dinner.

Re: dress issues (long sorry...venting)
I think you look beautiful in it. I really like the dress. Howveer you are the one that has to be in love with it. I would wait before I went out and bought a new one right away. Take some time to think about it, you might change your mind.

Jamie, it looks BEAUTIFUL on you!! I see what you're saying about hte constricted feeling of the straps, but if you don't want to cut them off entirely, (I agree it would look great strapless too), you could have them alterd so they sit on the round part of your shoulder instead of off the shoulder. That will give you more freedom to move.
My dress is also like that, but it's got the straps wrapping around the shoulder and not as low down. I think you have to rely on your initial gut which drew you to the dress in the first place. You no doubt have a lot on your mind right now and may be overwhelmed by everything coming up. You will look beautiful and you will have the best night of your life, and I don't think you will regret your choice on your wedding day!
