OK, my wedding is about three weeks away (2/17) and my dress is not in yet!!! It is a Casaablanca dress and I ordered it through Phyllis at Bridal Elegance. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Has anyone else had this problem. I have called Phyllis repeatedly, each time i get a slightly different story and she keeps telling me to be patient. She said at one point that this was typical of casablanca, they run very slow. I ordered the dress in July so it should have been plenty of time! Has anyone else had this problem with Casablanca? this has been the worst part of planning my wedding, I have been totally stress free up till this point! As you can imagine I am running out of patience and I am very nervous! I dont know what to do if the dress does not come in! HELP!!!!

OK here is an update, I spoke to Phyllis again, and she said that the dress is being expressed mailed to her, it will be here on Saturday, and I now have a fitting on Saturday at 3:30. Keep your fingers crossed for me that the dress is actually there when I show up! Thank you for all of you support and offers of help, it means a lot-this site is great! thanks again!
i'm crossing my fingers for you!!! i was over there tonite for a gown fitting, and i was thinking about you, wondering if you were gonna come in and go crazy on phyllis during my fitting! cause if i were you, i think i would be going crazy!

wow i wonder if you were there, b/c i saw two different brides there for fittings, i was with all the crazy little girls in the blue dresses. if that was you, your dress is beautiful!

i remember an 06 bride had a problem with her too. turns out she never placed the order.(this was for her bridesmaid dresses) i would be worried and i would get to the bottom of this. good luck!!!!!!!

Yes, it was. She ended up having to order through someone else like 5 days before her wedding.
I'm glad that you finally got a straight answer for your dress and that you have a fitting for Saturday. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy yourself!!
I also had issues with getting my dress in (from somewhere else) and it was really the only thing that stressed me out during planning. But as soon as I went for my 1st fitting and saw it hanging there, everything just melted away. Good luck to you!!!

My dress did come in and all is well. the dress fits and I have my second fittiing scheduled for Thursday. I am so relieved! Phyllis did pull through for me and she got my dress, I hope this means it will be smooth sailing till my wedding day!
