Go to Macy's in Manhasset. Great selection. Found my dress there on the first visit!

Dresses - Where to go?
I used NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. They are the sister store to Village Bridal in Babylon. I've had great experiences at both stores! Village Bridal does your alterations if you order your dress through their sister store.

Re: Dresses - Where to go?
I can't stop raving about Max Bridal in Mineola! It was the first shop I visited and they picked out the perfect gown for me. They only take one appointment at a time, which is nice. It's a small shop with a smaller selection, but definitely worth a visit! They are so patient and helpful. I'm also getting my bridesmaid dresses there (10% off since I bought my gown there) and they've been great! I've spent more time on the bridesmaid dresses than my own because they made it so easy!
I also went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa but there was a mix up with my appointment. They squeezed me in but I definitely felt rushed. All of their gowns are behind mirrored doors so I didn't feel like I could just look through the gowns like I could at Max Bridal. And there's no comfy seating at Bridal Reflections (at least in the front room). Didn't matter for me, but I heard it afterwards from those that went with me.
Good luck!

Bridal Suite of Bayshore is fantastic! I ordered my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses there and so far everyone there has been very helpful, friendly, and accommodating! I hope they stay that way for the fittings lolI also had wonderful experiences at Lillette's Bridal in Bellmore and the Bridal Suite of Huntington.

This is all so helpful! Centereach is a little far for me but there is so much positive feedback on Village Bridal that it definitely has to be on my list! Also Elenas bridal in Merrick seems like somewhere to stop by as well.
I'm very eager to hear how your weekend goes at BR! I have some time, I'm probably going to make appointments for a couple months from now but my mother gets a little over excited and wants to get an idea of where we're headed now! Does anyone else have a mother like this...?
I wanted to update you on my experience this weekend. We went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and have nothing but great things to say. Our consultant Darnell was wonderful and pulled amazing dresses. If it was the third store, I probably would have bought my dress there. Next stop was Village Bridal and I definitely didn't love the salon as much as I did at BR. BUT, the pricing was great and they pulled great dresses and I ended up buying by dress from Village Bridal.

Re: Dresses - Where to go?
I went to like 20 stores before buying my dress. Go to bridal reflections they have nice designers there they have 3 stores one in massapequa, carle place and fifth ave starting at 3500 and up.In the city you have lovely bride they have good customer services. RK bridal with a huge selection of designers but customer service is not as great and you should look at their website before going because they have like a million dresses to choose from!
And Village bridal also have nice dresses and good customer service they are located in Babylon.
