Duck or chicken?

FH and I are trying to figure out our menu, and we are having a hard time... we both loved the duck, and were thinking of doing the filet, duck, and sea bass, but we're afraid that not enough people like duck and that we should have a chicken instead.

What do you girls think?

I personally wouldn't order the duck if it was on the menu. It's a nice change, but I would pick chicken over duck any day

I'd personally order duck, but most people I know either love it or hate it. I think if you want to play it safe, chicken is a better idea.

we went thru the same thing but with pork vs chicken. we went with pork bc the chicken dish we tried was too bland. we're serving pork, beef two ways and salmon. there's also a vegetarian option. who knows what people will think!

eta: i LOVE duck, although i realize not everyone does.

chicken. i'm not a fan of duck, i don't eat red meat often and i can't eat seafood.. so if I was a guest I'd prob not eat, but thats just me... because of my stomach issues.

how about having duck during your CH?

I'm a really, really picky eater, so I would say chicken ... though off of your proposed menu I would pick the sea bass! LOVE sea bass!

DH and I went with the duck bc its not a common dish to make or order and we love it. My mother was against it...but we got rave reviews from it after and found out alot more people than we expected went with the duck. Its a nice change, and if people are a fan of the duck theres the steak or fish. Do what makes you happy, and if your still not sure get some feedback from some guests of yours that your close with.
