----before answering... this isn't a bias or personal attack.. just curious. Some people don't feel comfortable around other people or some people don't understand others accents and this is the reason why i ask. ----
Any one that has used or plan on using Duet for both Pics and Vid, was nationality a concern or an issue? Were their any langauage barriers? I went for my appoiment and loved there new style layout they have. The price is better then expected and i hope something good happens.

littlecat told me about them i booked them lastyear i have to say that when i called them and i heard an asian accent i was taken back. i made the appointment anyway, but when i hung up the phone i thought forget it i'm not going. Then i got mad at myself and thought that is really stupid that your not going because of their accent. my whole family has an accent. so i went. and loved them but i still had and have a concern about the language barrier. Will they fully understand me? Also my big concern is that my FI groomsmen will make fun of them. that would really upset me.

Eric is the owner and has a accent but his wife Nicole and the others speak fluent english. They were raised here and / or born here. Sometimes I have to take a second to understand my fiancees grandmother, she's chinese. I don't think you willl have any problems. My fiancee met with Nicole and Eric a few weeks ago and I met with Eric on Thurs. We just booked yesterday for both video and photo. Feel free to call and meet with the others like we are. I'm going in for the contract signing on Mon. and am going to meet with the photographers.

woah..did't know this thread was still going...
we talked long and hard about duet. we decided to go else place cause our budget premited us to.
story is we went with patken and wildrose. We live this day once and our lives and wanted everything to be perfect.
Nothing against Duet but it's a great price for the service they provided. We wanted more. Had it been an extremely tight bugdet..they were number 1 on our list.
We like there version of the soho book but did more reserach on it. We are getting the actually soho produced by the person who made it up. Duet viedo really caught my eye (was acutlally the first veido i saw) but after seeing Wild Rose veido... OMG...there is no comparison to me..

Duet people were all very nice. Nicole made an excellent deal to get us to book and we did talk to Eric before he left for a wedding. I would recommend them
