did you pick our your own e-ring or did FH do it all on his own??
i happened to be at my family jeweler with my sister and she picked out my setting! at first i was looking at styles totally opposite than what i have and i even thought my ring was ugly at first!!! then i put it on my hand (she insisted) and my hand started shaking and i cried!! i guess she knows me better than i know myself! (FH and I had looked a couple times before and it was very frustrating bc i couldnt find anything that i liked.. so he suggested that i go with my sis, she would tell me like it really was and he would just be like whatever you want hunny)
sooo he went back and picked out the diamond and set it in the setting my sister picked out!! and i looove it!

my band is actually my mothers engagement ring band. she upgraded her diamond and changed the band so i took it and had my birthstone in it. i told FH i wanted this band. so he evntually took it from me and then picked out the diamond for it. so a little bit of both i would say

sure if she would want it. i loved my moms band, it was simple and pretty. i actually have another ring that gets passed down to the girls. its my great grandmothers engagement ring...grandma gave it to mom when she was 16 and mom gave it to me when i was 16 so i can give it to my daughter when she is 16 (if i have a girl hehe)

FH did it all on his own and I love it. He knows my style so well. I would let him buy my clothes if he wanted to (of course he doesn't though)!

FH and I went to the city to look at styles of rings about 6-9 months before he popped the question. I knew if we went to the city I would see every style possible...I ended up with a simple solitaire....go figure...

his sister took me ering shopping and i picked out 3 rings that i liked and ranked them, which she knew the ranking, the next day she took fh to show him and he picked out the one he liked the best, he picked choice #1, then he teased me for the next month about my ring making me wait for it

I designed mine on-line and handed him the print out a while back. I'm very plain; I dont wear a stitch of jewelry to begin with so I wanted to make sure that if I had to wear something, I better love it! I gotta give him alot of credit. He sifted through many catalogs at the jeweler before he found it.

My Fh designed my ring all on his own. We went shopping to get ideas as to what looks good on my finger but he designed it all on his own and really surprised me

well my FH chose it all by himself. The problem is that months before the proposal i showed him a few rings i liked so that he wouldnt get me something that i wouldnt love. So yeah that didnt work, he got me something completely opposite, has taking me a while to like it. I just told him i better get an upgrade b4 the wedding!!!!!!
