E-Ring question

Hi Gals,
So, my engagement ring has been passed down in my FI's family to me. When I got it, it was a 7.5 and I sized it down to 5.25. The problem is, is that it still spins and it drives me CRAZY!

Has anyone ever had a 'J-bar' put into their ring, or anything else to prevent the spinning? I need some advice before I stick some scotch tape on the band!

TIA!

Re: E-Ring question

My engagement ring was also big on me. I got 2 little balls on the inside of mine. It helped from slipping off but hasn't stopped the spinning. I'm going to be getting it sized down when I go to make our wedding bands. The balls might be good for you to try out. They can do it in like 15-20 mins and it's easy to remove.

Re: E-Ring question

Hi! I had the same issue with my ring spinning - it was half a size too big, plus a little top heavy. I had 'speed bumps' put in, and I love them. The best part is that you can't see them at when the ring is on.

Here's a pic (not mine)

E-Ring question

Ditto to the above. Get the balls soldered in. Ask your jeweler to do it.

E-Ring question

I had the balls put in. At first they were annoying but I got used to it. Its still spins and drives me crazy but I think I am going to have it resized anyway

E-Ring question

it's spinning even when your hands are warm? You might need to size it a little smaller if you can, mine only spins a little when I'm freezing, when you're warm your fingers swell and it shouldn't be spinning around too much. The balls are a good option too!
