Re: East Wind Brides
My STDs are out. We blocked rooms at the Inn, so we sent out the hotel info with the STDs. I must say that EW's hotel info was really cheap looking - nothing I'd ever want to put in an invite, so we created it on better paper ourselves. My guests are already started to book rooms, so I may add more rooms to the block. After my block gets filled, they're only 10 rooms left that night! Yikes!

I would definately get an idea of how many will be used this way you can add more now!! I also had east wind maps made to match my invites. Did not like theirs.

Re: East Wind Brides
Well, I called them today to ask if they are okay w/ us having a cigar table and they said no problem. I also asked how long the aisle is b/c I'm thinking of getting a personalized aisle runner - they said it's 40-45 feet. That's it for me though, can't wait!!

Uh Oh! I measured it myself.
It was 5' wide and 75' long. (set up for 200 ppl)

hmmmm interesting. I didn't think to factor in how many people it was set up for. It actually doesn't matter b/c I decided I'll just go w/ the aisle runner my limo company provides. If I'm the only one walking on it - I don't think it's worth it. But thanks for the info anyway

You can have a cigar roller come to your wedding for an hour and a half - he brings come cigars and then rolls cigars in front of the guests. I think most people do it during CH or Veienesse (no idea how to spell that) - we have an hour and a half CH so I thought it might be nice to give people something else to do. Otherwise, you can set up a cigar table w/ cigars, clippers and matches and guests can help themselves. We haven't figured out what we were going to do yet.

I am doing all pink and whtie (my colors) candies after the reception is over on their way out...in the lobby of the estate most likely... with candy bags and they can take as they please for the ride home/hotel room...
