east wind opinions please!!

October in the veranda room or January in the estate? Opinions please! Positive or negative experiences, everything would be helpful. We want to book asap.

That's a really hard choice!! First off, I think either or, East Wind was amazing and will be amazing either way!

Weather wise, I would say October is more ideal, so I would say the Veranda (although I didn't even look at the Veranda when I was there). However, if you LOVE the Estate, it is more private, and my opinion perfect (I may be a little biased haha), so it may be worth having a January wedding for that. If you don't have a big preference on the rooms, then I would say go with the Veranda.

Thanks! My FH is the only one who saw the estate and he did like it a lot, but we really wanted October, and the only one we can afford in October is the veranda. I only saw North hampton and the veranda and I LOVED the veranda from the second we walked in so it's easy for me to say 'lets go with veranda!' since I have nothing to compare it to.

We are having an afternoon wedding and the start time for October is 12pm - not sure if this is too early. And start time for January is 1pm, which is perfect. Blah! Decisions, decisions!

12pm is not too early - my ceremony was at 11:30am. Had to get up really early, but it was worth it!

how many people are you expecting? the estate is a much larger room. i'm getting married in the ballroom and have seen both the veranda and estate so FM me if you have any questions!

We're expecting somewhere around 125-150 people. The woman we're working with says the minimum she would put in the estate is 125, how big were the weddings you went to? Thanks for your help!

Aww thank you!! When I went to visit I first saw the Northhampton, which was very nice, then went to see the Estate and feel completely in love. I went to other venues but nothing even compared. Go see it in person before you make any final decision

I had about 160 people there for my wedding, so 125-150 would be just fine! Message me if you have any other questions!

East wind staff at hotel very rude. In accommodating. Bridal staff wa atrocious was just in a wedding there. Hotel and grounds gorgeous. Coctail hr food great and dinner was okay. Not great

Really? I'm shocked BC I've dealt with them numerous times regarding our block, extending it, etc and they were always super accommodating. If someone or several people there were rude to my bridal party i would def nip it immediately and contact the owner. No one should be treated as such on their wedding day!

Was not my wedding. My sisters. I won't get into detail but the highlights were people walking thru cocktail hour to their rooms totally embarrassed. The bridal attendants telling at the bridal party. I can go on for an hour. I had to pay 30!fo glasses an water for the bridal party in the 600 dollar a night suite. The bartender told off th groom. I'm not saying don't go there the place is adorable.
