Hi everyone! First let me thank you for even opening and offering your help.

OK so mom and dad are paying for wedding. I was never the type of girl to dream about my wedding day, I skip to the honeymoon all the time.

I have told my parents that they can choose where the reception will be. Only because I really can't decide and neither can my Zepp.

Thank you for all of your responses.

I went to Westbury Manor on Thursday, met with Susan and really like the place. We are booked for March of 2008. so I dont know about the weather and how they decorate the building for that time of year but I just love the look of a mansion/house compared to a wedding hall.

East WInd is grreat though. I have been dealing with Gina for over a month now and think that she is a true professional. If you get Gina you are lucky!!!!

Westbury Manor... they are simply amazing there and you never get the HALL feel.. it's so warm and cozy.. and the service is unbeliveable.. the food is top notch too!!!

Make a pros & cons list. This was suggested to us when we had 6 on the list and it quickly dropped to 2!! then I envisioned the wedding at each venue and just felt that one of the venues was more for us, so that's where we booked....

I shot a communion at Westbuy Manor once there and I have to say the food was great and the gardens are BEAUTIFUL

I can't compare it to East Wind-- I've never been there-- but Westbury Manor has treated me wonderfully to date! I have absolutely no complaints & I've only heard great things about their food and service... That is really rare- to never hear of any major complaints- no matter who I ask!
But bottom line you have to go with your gut feeling.

pix. westbury manor, from what i saw, doesnt have that mmuch sceenery .. .but maybe i didnt think so causeit was raining for my DH's cousins wedding.

Thats definitely not true, the gardens at WM are BEAUTIFUL for taking pictures..

like i said, it poured on my dh cousins wedding day, so we couldnt tell . . .
