East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I am completely torn between East Wind and Giorgio's? Would love to hear opinions on why someone would choose one or the other!!

It's so hard to choose! I like how Giorgio's is more neutral colors...but does the color of the wall really matter? : )

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I'm doing a Sunday brunch wedding at Giorgio's. Honestly, I want to spend as little money as possible, and Giorgio's was in my price range. I love the grounds, also.

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
not sure how many weddings east wind does at a time, but I loved that we would have the whole place to ourselves. I got a good vibe from George and George. They really make you feel like they care about YOU, that you aren't just a number (I felt like this at other places we looked, we didn't look at East Wind though)

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
Giorgios all the way!!!They are amazing and meticulous-
my brother had his wedding there and it was incredible!!
I love that it is one wedding at a time, the food is great, the grounds are well manicured and they are constantly updating and renovating inside and out

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
well i'm bias cause i'm getting married at country gardens at East winds and I just LOVE it- the grounds are so pretty- i love that its quaint and filled with flowers... and even though there are 2 other weddings- the grounds are all far from each other so you never see another wedding going on.-I love that you have the hotel on the grounds for everyone to stay at and can have a brunch the next day (on sunday)
Plus my parents went to a new years eve party at east wind and LOVED the food!

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
My brother had gotten married at East Wind so being the stubborn siblings we are I didn't want to get married at the same place as him lol. It is really beautiful though! The first moment I stepped into Giorgio's I absolutely fell in love. I love the whole family business side of it and how you get the whole place to yourself. I also think that Giorgio Sr. is the one they use to seal the deal, that man is so darn charming! The food is also amazing and they have such cute little touches that no one else has, like a grooms suite, conversational seating and a golf cart down to the water for picture. I guess I am a little biased but seriously Giorgio's rocks!

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I am getting married at giorgios in less than 4 months, so I have to go with Giorgios, but I've been to weddings at East Wind, and I have to say the food at Giorgios is just better, plus they are such pleasant people to work with. I had to reschedule my wedding due to family illness and they were amazing, no problems. You can really work with them on pricing as well. I am having a wedding in January and they undercut East Wind by more than 10 dollars a person. I am a little biased but Giorgios is my choice.

LOVE Giorgio's....just so gorgeous. Personally I'm not a fan of the decor at East Wind, and the fact that they have more than one wedding at a time.

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
We looked at both Eastwinds and Giorgios. In my opinion, I felt like I wouldnt get the personal attention like I get at Giorgio's. Also, Eastwinds can have up to 3 weddings at one time....I wanted to get married at someplace that was one wedding only. Giorgios is amazing...the food is fabulous and the service is great too! I would go with Giorgio's hands down (and I did). The views are also amazing!

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I am getting using the Southampton Room at the East wind for my reception. I am not bothered that they have more than 1 wedding at a time... because they have seperate staffs for them. They have seperate Kitchens for themI am biased of corse, but I love the east wind

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I have never been to giorgio's so I can't comment on it, sorry. I just wanted to clarify that Eastwind has 3 seperate locations The Inn which I think has more that one wedding at a time and is in the hotel. The Estate which is next to the Inn which I don't really think you can see from there and it is only one wedding at a time. It is very beautiful with a very nice cocktail room and outside. The Country Gardens is in front of the Estate which can not be seen and is only one wedding at a time as well. The grounds are very pretty with beautiful gardens and a bridge over a small waterfall. I would look into both and sit with both and come up with a list of what you like and dislike and go from there. The only time you would see another bride at Eastwind is if you have an after party at the bar in the hotel, which at that point does it really matter!!! Good luck in your search for the perfect place, You will find it!!

Re: East Wind vs. Giorgio's
I haven't been to Giorgio's so I can't say anything about it. But I just wanted to share with you about East Wind. I just booked last night! We're having our ceremony and reception at the Country gardens - which is perfect for smaller weddings - they hold up to 180 max. It is completely separate from the Hotel and the Estate so if there are other weddings going on at the same time we won't even know. I loved the feel of it - the grounds are beautiful and the rooms (separate one for CH and reception) are pretty and tasteful and not too over the top for me. East Wind was also teh first place that when we drove up I got butterflies
we also wanted somewhere with guest accomodations because a lot of our wedding party is from OOT and we wanted to hang out with them after. They have a little bar/pub in the hotel that is perfect for that.
Good luck!!!
