Me and DW are looking for a house but trying to do it quick so we don't have to move into an apt temporally until we move in the house... so, that is the premise for today's poll...
I've moved a lot of times... gotta do what you gotta do. Lived with family, friends and now, finally on my own while growing up.
Born in Brooklyn, moved to Queen when I was 2 and moved in with DH in January.

As an adult or in my lifetime?
Three different apartments growing up (all in same neighborhood).
As an adult, two apts in Albany, two back where I always lived, and where I live now (which DH has lived in his entire life).

only once, from my house to DH house back in 2002. I still haven't fully moved out of there yet my moms buggin to get my sh!t so she has more closet space.

4, not counting college. My family has lived in the same hsoue sicne before I was born, but after college I moved in 99 to Astoria, 2000 home ( for a month) 2000 to Mt. Vernon 2004 to Scarsdale
We are trying to buy a co-op, but I don'' know if I want to move right away again, so we may rent for another year.

During college I moved in and out of my house a couple of times when I was between apartments so that's why my number is so high (5 - 6) actually now that I think of it...it's probably more like 7 - 8...

I lived in my parents house from teh day I came home from teh hospital until the day I got married (except for college) Then DH and I moved into our house.

hmm, when i was 4 we moved in with my grandma, than my mom and i moved to an apt in copaigue, then another apt in copaigue. Then I've moved 4 times so far in college, and will be moving another time this july.

I know that I have lived in 2 places before now, but don't remember either of them, have been in my apt since I was 2.

I've moved 6 times.. wait let me count
1) one time with family moved from smaller to bigger house
2) moved out to go to college and in with my ex
3) moved with ex to new apartment
4) moved back in with parents temporarily when I dumped ex..
5) moved into rental when waiting to buy my co-op
6) moved into my co-op .. DH moved in with me
HOPEING to move into a HOME this year to make it lucky 7!!!

I've moved so many times I stopped counting! But I still have one more and that will be it for me...when I get my house. Hopefully next year!

Once when I was 3 to Middle Village where I lived for 22 years. Then in the past 3 years I have moved 3 times! 2x in Jersey City and now to our house in NJ.
