Re: ebay......
I ordered once from ebay. I ordered our cameras for the tables at the reception. They were refurbished. They looked good, they were even sealed in plastic but unfortunately some of them didn't have a working flash and some pictures on others came out too dark.

Re: ebay......
I use ebay for everything. Wedding and non wedding related. I have ordered posters, books, gadgets, kitchen stuff, candels, and so much more. For wedding stuff: The only thing with Ebay is you have to really read the description and use your best judgement on items. For example, the camera's read if they are brand new or refurbished and use your best judgement. Picture frames are they heavy, are they light, how tall are they, etc...you really have to read the description and if you have a question email the seller.
My wedding is in 2004 so I am going to order the bubbles off ebay but not for another year and just put them in a closet.

Re: ebay......
eBay has sellers who sell both new and used items, as well as refurbished. Read the item descriptions very carefully and write the seller if you have any questions. Check a seller's feedback rating to see what others' opinions of them are before you bid. If you do ask a question before bidding you get an idea what the seller is like some of the time. Also, be clear on payment policies-how you are able to pay and what shipping is.Once you are registered it is quite easy. You bid on the item you want by entering the high bid you want to go to (sometimes bidding $.01 or $.02 more gets you a win!). When the auction ends the seller will contact you via email (unless you to a 'Buy It Now'). From there you will be given a total and payment/shipping instructions. Many sellers like to be paid via Paypal or Billpoint, so you may want to look into registering for one of those services as well (they allow you to pay or recieve payment by credit card or direct payment from a bank account). Once you have paid your item will ship. When it arrives it is common courtesy to leave the seller feedback, and he/she should do the same for you.
I do some selling (and occasional bidding) on eBay. It can be a pain but it can be a big help.

I am a seller on Ebay & a buyer. Ebay has anything & everything from new to used. Always ask questions if you have any before bidding. Also use paypal to pay & only buy from sellers who accept this, it's much easier.

Re: ebay......
I am also a seller and buyer of ebay. Whenever I buy something I click on the seller's number to see how many positive feedbacks they have. If they have like 4 negatives out of say 500 positives, I still place my bid.

Re: ebay......
Another ebay junkie here, although I sell more often then I buy. If you are at all nervous, forum mail me the link to something you are considering bidding on, and I'll let you know if there is anything you should be worried about. There are no guarantees, but generally its easy to pick out the possible scammers and protect yourself.Things to look out for on a sellers feedback:
1) No sales for over a year, but suddenly selling high priced items.
2) Listed as a buyer, but now suddenly selling high priced items.

Re: ebay......
Always check the seller's feedback! I don't buy from sellers who have poor feedback or those who have little or no feedback. Also, make sure to check the S&H charges. Sometimes you could win an item for $3, but the S&H could be $10.
And watch out, ebay is almost as addicting as LIWeddings!!!
