Family wont cooperate...need advice...

would it be possible to call them and find out whos coming and I would have a couple of extra seats just in case you have people who just show up.

So I posted about my dads side of the family RSVPing yes but then calling me and telling me theyre are going to substitute some of the people I invited with other people. I was annoyed at this but Im dealing with it. I keep calling them to find out the names of who's coming and no one calls me back. I called my dad and he didnt call me back either. What should I do as far as these people go? I cant make a placecard with their names if I dont know who's coming. Any suggestions? Should I put a table in the lobby next to the bathroom for them?? Cause thats what Im about to do.

Seriously, why are these people not understanding that is your WEDDING!!?? I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I know you've had a rought time with them. My suggestion would be to call your dad and either tell him or leave a message stating that if you dont have the exact names of who IS coming by a certain day...they will NOT have a place to sit. Isn't there anyone on that side of the family that can help you out??

Ive been calling them almost everyday and at this point Im probably just being annoying but I have to be! I just called my dad and he's gonna call them right now so we'll see if I get an answer today. Sometimes I feel like me wedding is just a burden for people. In that case, I wish they would have just responded no. My feelinds wouldnt have been hurt and it would have spared me the stress!

Girl, IM TEMPTED! My dad was pissed when I spoke to him right now and he has a temper! He said hes gonna call them and tell them to give me an answer or NOT TO COME. My dad tells people like it is. I told him not to tell them that cause then theyre gonna think it was me that said it. Im not that mean!
