I'm not sure whether this should be classified as a rant, a vent or a pity party. Yesterday someone said something to me and it really bothered me...i know i know that i shouldnt think twice about what someone thinks of me but i am one of those insecure people who do. I was talking to a coworker about how i havent hit my goal weight and being that my wedding is this saturday, im a tad disappointed but im more or less letting it go because im so excited to marry Joe. Plus i lost a total of almost 60 lbs so im just glad that all of that weight is off. She turned and said 'Well as long as Joe thinks you're beautiful that day it shouldnt matter what anyone else thinks.' Okay now i do get the point that she was trying to be sincere but this came 2 minutes after a different co-worker told me i shouldnt eat before my fitting (keep in mind it was 2 pm and i hadnt eaten yet cause i was psycho at work). I just felt like shouting 'ok i am not thin but i am not tipping the scales at 500 lbs either.' And even if i was, why shouldnt i feel beautiful on my wedding day? I went to my fitting later that afternoon and stood there in my gown for the first time feeling 'not so beautiful' and i cant believe i let two comments get inside of my head. I am probably overreacting and overly sensitive cause my emotions are all over because im getting married in 3 days but i still thought it was a bit rude.

You're absolutely gorgeous...and it's sooo amazing that you've lost 60lbs. That is not something to sneeze at and it's very hard to do. Don't let those people get inside your head....I don't think they meant it in a 'bad' way but 3 days before your wedding they shouldn't be making comments. You're going to be radiant and smokin on your wedding day. I can't wait to see pics of you in your dress since you've kept us in suspense all this time

Don't let stupid people get to you. Yesterday we had a party and someone was like oh are you really going to eat a piece of birthday cake. And I am like YES I AM. I have lost 20 pounds and I know my dress is going to be big on me and I am not going to starve myself. I notice that on the weekends when I have a lot to do I forget to eat. But don't let people get you down. YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK AMAZING!

You are beautiful inside and out. People need to learn to keep their trap shut. Hasn't their mother ever told them 'If you don't have any thing nice to say, don't say anything at all'...that angers me when people have to be so rude like that!!

Weight is such an issue for women and a lot of times I think women project there own image/weight issues on one another. I am sure this person was well meaning but I know it still stings like um hello I am beautiful not just Joe thinks it all my guests will think 'wow shes beautiful' and you are and they will!

Don't worry what people say. Even if you lost all the weight that you wanted nasty people will still make nasty comments. On my bridal shower my father's cousin had to point out that I have gained some weight to the entire table! I wish I heard her- so that I can tell her a few pounds can come off, but you are stuck what ugly a$$ face!

losing 60 pounds is a very great accomplishment that you should be proud of. Even if you still had that 60lbs on you I am sure you would still be beautiful. This is your day. Don't let other ppl get you down.

I just looked through your pics and you are gorgeous! Your co-workers must be jealous that you lost 60 pounds and look great. People have a hard time losing 5 pounds let alone 60! You look wonderful and you are going to make a beautiful bride!!

Re: 'Fat' bride...longgggg
first of all CONGRATS on losing the 60 pounds, that is a big accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself for that
you are a very beautiful girl and will look stunning on your wedding day, stop worrying ahead of time of how you will look, which yes its easier said than done. I think every bride worries about how she will look, the night before my wedding i was almost in tears bc i thought i was just going to be the biggest mess, of course a few days before i break out which i hadnt in a while and my roots were black and i mean badly...we just feel alot of pressure to look beautiful on our wedding day so thats why we get sensitive before.
The comment your co-worker made, she meant in a positive way and wasnt bad. The one telling you not to eat is an a**.
I can guarantee the day of your wedding, after you finish getting ready and put your dress on and look in the mirror you will see what a gorgeous girl you are and feel so good about yourself that day. Your FH along with ALL your guests will see walk down that aisle and all gasp at what a beautiful bride you are, and your FH will look at you so happy he is up there about to marry this gorgeous girl that is the love of his life.
Enjoy the next few days, this happens once and will be the best day of your life.
ive looked through your albums in the past and honestly you are such a beautiful girl. Trust me and dont worry at all, i dont even think you realize how amazingly beautiful you will look on your wedding day, after youre all dressed you'll wonder why you even worried.

I def think you are just emotional right now. Those girls should probably have known better than to say something like that to you- even if they meant it in a nice way.
Remember on your wedding day you will have your hair and makeup looking all nice, you will probably be more relaxed, and even though it does only matter what ur FH and you think, everyone will think you are beautiful cus you will be!!

I'm looking at your pictures right now and you are a very attractive person! You are going to look absolutely gorgeous on your day, I don't see how you wouldn't! Try not to worry about people and their comments, people have told me I need to lose weight and I'm 125 lbs....
