good idea.

Our original song was 'faithfully' by journey... its the first song we ever danced to -- but the lyrics just don't fit.

now we're thinking 'I'm gonna love you more than anyone' by Gavin DeGraw... BUT like 2 lines of the first verse just dont work! (In italics below...)

Thanks for all the advice I think I am going to switch. I just hope that my dad can handle the song. Should I let him listen to it first?

My cousin danced to butterfly kisses with my uncle...that song is really freakin long! Be forewarned! 4 or 5 mins of people staring at you is a LOOOONG time! JMO

I hope no one takes offence to this, but here is my vote... I loved her first... here's why...

I like to try to pick things that are at least a LITTLE out of the norm. I think that people have heard butterfly kisses so many times, that it may just have some people bored with the tune.

I loved her first... I can tell you this, I have never heard it, but it seems to be such a good song that I have a friend that has told me about it & how she wished she knew the song a year ago when she got married...

Go with the one that will have people's ears perk up and listen to what the song is really saying.
