Sooo... I went to Bridal Reflections yesterday.. I had a really great experience there.
I found a dress that I love. Like LOVE LOVE LOVE
BUT- the bottom is feathers!!! I can't believe i like it because it is so out of control!!! But I DO!! I REALLY DO!
Now here is the question: I think this trend will fall fast and HARD. The woman yesterday said that every trend dies and you will look back and hate your dress no matter what LOL
But do i want to look back and say OMG i look like a peacock? What if in one year its out of style and then im screwed? It is not a dress that most people will like.. I feel like only certain types of people like the style.
I know everyone says to dress for yourself but REALLY? dont you want everyone to say what a gorgeous dress you wore? What good is it if im the only one who thinks it looks good? LOL

I really like the idea of it but at the end of the day YOU are the one that has to be comfortable in and with your dress. If it makes you happy and giddy, then get it!!!

i think it looks great on you and if it's something that you really want to wear, then go for it. it's your day and it's what you want. I think the gown is beautiful and the pictures show that you can pull it off. But if you're hesitant, I suggest you keep on looking.

As far as feather dresses go I think that one is very tasteful, from the pictures you probably couldn't really tell it was feathers without you telling us, I think the silhouette of it will stay in style and feathers aren't too all over the place, I'd say go for it, no one is really going to look classic and timeless in their pictures, SOMETHING will give away the time period... lol

i say go for it but I like to live on the edge lol and really who cares what people think If you love it get it.You will compare every single dress that you try on to this one because its the one for you. Even if you have the most beautiful dress in the world there is always going to be people that dont like it. Its a reflection of you you are at this point in your life so If you look back and you dont like it use that as ur excuse..lol that was the young me lmao

i love grkbarbies dress!! she totally rocked it and i think it was so her which is defintitely what every bride should do, get a gown that reflects her and her personality
dont make a decision now and what youll think of the dress 50 years later, no one likes their dress later, so do what makes you happy now
