Let go from his job.

His paycheck is our PRIMARY source of income. I don''t know what we're going to do. Without that paycheck, we can barely make ends meet.

And get this he was let go from his job at the post office because (he got into a fender bender, going 5 miles an hour) and they told him he had to pay $8000 or he would be fired. Of course federal employees are not liable for it so he denied. So they told him, he was terminated. SOo upset and my dad wants to hire a lawyer.

If you're a lawyer pllleeeeaaassse give me some insight.

I'm having a meltdown and don't knoiw what we're going to do.....

i feel your pain. we are going through pretty much the same thing right now. its horrible

after a few days im sure you will be able to think things out

I'm so sorry :( I've never heard of them doing that in the po before--

Was he ever written up for anything? Did he have a perm job or was he a fill in? How long has he worked there? What po was it? You can fm me if you want..

Your FH should be in a union and I'm pretty sure the union contract only allows him to be fired in certain situations. Either way, contact his union ASAP. You may be able to get a union rep to contest his termination. If need be, the union can assign him an attorney if the grievance process doesn't work (that's what the union dues are for).
