she knows what it was appraised for because we insured it through home insurance. Othe than that, as for the exact number, I'll never tell. It;s like if you get a gift, you're not supposed to know what the other person spent. I do understand how you might be curious though.

I know what it is appraised for, because I saw the papers for the insurance policy. I didn't ask and he won't tell me how much he paid for it. I could definitely figure it out, since he borrowed money from his family (we just graduated from college) so I know the monthly payment. But it's not that important to me on how much it does cost.
