FH & FMIL Vent
Flowers are driving me nuts! This was the last thing I thought I'd ever have to stress about. But FH and his mother are pissing me off. She offered to pay for the flowers (which is super generous of her), so FH and I tried to keep it as low as possible, which meant I had to go for low cp's...totally fine with that.
When I told FMIL that we were doing lows, she didn't like it all and wasn't impressed and thinks highs are better and blah blah blah blah. And so suddenly FH finally decides to take interest and insist on highs too. I explained to them that it was going to cost A LOT more, but they told me to find out anyway. Well highs are going to cost an extra $700, which is over the budget FMIL set for us. She tells FH that she'll pay for what she said she would but that we'll have to pay for the rest. ***! She was the one that insisted we get high cp's to begin with. We didn't budget for flowers because she said she would pay for it. But now FH is convinced that low cp's aren't going to look right, when he was totally okay with it before his mom ever said anything. Now I don't know where the hell we're going to get the extra money from Argggh!!!![]()
