We are getting married at the RH and I know alot of people dont get limos. Whats the piont is what I say but,.....FH says we're being cheap, mind you we have a tight budget. aslo I will be getting ready at the RH.
So for those of you that got or are getting married at the RH what did you do?
PLEASE respond so I can shut him up.

get a nice town car to take you home/hotel after the party. hey many NYC brides and grooms walk!!!

I would say no limo. If we had gotten married at the RH then we would have passed on it. It will save you

I guess as a compromise you coudl get a car to drop you off and pick you off.

we're getting married at the RH, so we're having a rolls royce pick us up at the end of the night..

and we're getting a limo for the next day, b/c we have a post wedding ceremony at FH's house.. so we would need to get everyone there..

so unless you want to have a shot of you getting out of the limo and certain pics like that, i'd say forgo the limo.. but then again this is jmo..

We cut out the limo expense for that very same reason. We are getting married at the Fox Hollow and I am planning on staying at the INN next door the night before as well as our wedding night. The BP knows they have to drive themselves and seem to be ok with it. lol I wish we had the extra cash to pick everyone up but it is just not realistic. Especially since most of the BP is from out of town.

I don't think you need a limo. I'd save the money & use it for something else.

we are doing no limo bc 95% of our bridal party is staying at the hotel with us that is next store. there is no need for a limo what so ever .. good luck

Had a town car pick us up and take us to the hotel, about a 15 minute drive. No need for a limo.
We had a separate town car for IL's and Best man.

But, my dear husband surprised me with a limo to pick us up and take us to the airport for our HM, and then to pick us up on our return. This was because I did not have the traditional ride to church in a limo.

Dh drove his truck to the RH & my dad drove me...i wasn't going to spend $$$ on a limo for a 10 minute drive from my house to the RH!

I plan on going with the BP from brooklyn to the RH and then have a royles royce take us home afterwards.

we got pick-up/drop off service for us and our BP, and a car for FH and I for the end of the night. FM me for prices, but I think we got a great deal.

i think it's nice to get p/u and drop off service, but we were completely prepared to skip the limos when we thought we'd have the ceremony @ RH.

There is truly no point to it. No one will see it. You are going to get there way before your guests. They also charge a good amount of money because they cant take a wedding at that time just to drop you off.

We got one limo and did pick up/drop off. It picked up me and the BMs at my house and dropped us off at the RH. I figured it was worth the $200 to be able to all go togther, and this way my BM's didin't have to worry about having two cars at the RH.
After the reception, a friend drove us to the hotel.

i think it would just be nice to have it bring u to ur hotel at the end of the night...DH & i drove our own car to the hotel - just as fun. The only reason i could see getting a limo to take the BP is if u're worried about anyone being late....if that's the case then i'd have the BP all meet at someones house & have the limo pick them up. but as for u two it's really just a personal choice! i'm of no help i guess lol. like i said, we used our car afterwards(but we also used limos the entire afternoon). u're getting ready at the RH so u dont have to worry about having an immaculately clean ride there, but u may just want it for the luxury at the end of the night??? what about saving some mula but compromising and just hiring a nice town car to come get you????

We don't plan to do a limo, since our ceremony is at the RH and our hotel is only a 3 minute drive from the RH, it didn't seem worth it to put out money.

We're not doing limo's at all. We're having our Ceremony at our RH but our Hotel is right next door to our RH. I'm staying at the hotel the night before the wedding and getting ready in the hotel room. So, I'll have my car at the hotel. My bridal party is all family. They will all have ways to get there and get home. They understand that I'm going to spend a small fortune on limo's.

We had a limo pick us up from home and drive us around to take photos.

The bridal party was with us in the limo

At the end of the night, we were the last to leave, so we just had someone drive us home in an car.

i got married at the RH--but got ready at a hotel beforehand. DH got ready at the same hotel but different room--and he went in the limo first--with his guys. and then it returned to the hotel to pick up myself and my girls and parents.

at the end of the nite we were supposed to have a town car pick just us up---but our limo company was nice enough to send a 14 passenger limo so we were able to drop off a bunch of people from the wedding back at the hotel.

otherwise--we had arranged transportation with friends for anyone who came in the limo earlier.
