So Mr Boots and I have been playing matchmaker for his friend BoyScout, and of course the girl he digs (and who digs him) we didn't set up! But she's very cool so we're pleased as punch.
Anyway, BoyScout wants to ask her on a date, but he wants to double with us and go to dinner. I said that's too high pressure for her, Mr Boots thinks it will showcase BoyScout's personality.
So here's my question... What were the best first dates you've been on? What marked the Kiss of Death for a first date?

Worst Date: The guy tried to unzip my dress in Port jeff by Danford's in broad daylight! What a creep!
Hmmm Best Date..... My high school sweetheart, we started to date many years later and when I went to see him for my first time in years, he had made dinner & wine ready. It was so sweet.

My worst first date was a double date! The guy who I was out with kept accusing me of flirting with the other guy and saying that I liked the other guy better! ARGH! I sprinted SO fast out of his car at the end of that date
One of my acquaintences also went on a first date with this same guy and had the same experience - you think he would have learned!
