I'm getting married at the Vineyard Caterers out East and I just got a quote from a florist.
I'm doing some high and some low centerpieces with hydrangea and ranuculus. Some hydrangea at cocktail hour Sweetheart table flowers two altar flowers pew bows 7 bridesmaids 7 buttonaires for GM Bridal bok 3 corsages Posey's for the MIL and Mom Headbands for flower girls (i provide headband)
7 k total. Am I wrong to think that is high?
Can Anyone recommend another florist out there?!?

The only difference bet. your floral package and mine is that I have 4 groomsmen and 4 bridesmaids and my pkg. is under $3k. You may want to shop around a bit.

I know! The CP's are half tall (11) and half low (11) so 22 centerpieces in total.
I just saw on the proposal and she is charing $650 bucks delivery fee when she is in the same town as the catering hall!!!

Flowers Michele's quote was shockingly cheap but i decided against them b/c in order to drape the skylight i have to use Pedestals but they are amazing too!

that is ridiculous then especially the delivery charge.
I have 25 high cps, calla's, orchids and branches
10bm bok's, 2 mononosegays for our moms and also 3 more for our grandmothers oh yeah and my bok...mine is with peonies and bm's are calla's
12 bouts for gm, 1 for fh, and 1 for RB, plus our dads
12 calla pew bows, 2 floral altar arrangements
flowers for CH, escort table
thats all i can remember for now but mine is coming out to less than yours.

yeah- definitely high. Especially the delivery since they are in the same town at your RH. I think my delivery was like $125. I would definitely look around. IDK if its the ranaculas bringing up the price. Are they expensive?

Wow..that seems like a lot. I have almost 34 centerpieces..yes..34 and 9 bm and 9gm plus fg and rb and my church and reception...and i went to pedestals for a LOT LESS - shop around some more!

Why do you have to pick a florist out east? Most florists will deliver to you...I would shop around.

It is definitely a little on the high side but that also depends on exactly what you're getting in each of the Bo-Ks....Out of season flowers are pricier and if you're going with orchids over basic roses (for example) it will also drive the price up....
Do some comparison shopping and go with what you feel most comfortable with. Sometimes the cheaper places may not give you the best service or flowers....You'll know when you get there.
