Marbear, thank you for the update.

I didn't want to post anything until after Marbear's hearing, but for the record, Gina was scheduled to do flowers for my September 5th wedding. I haven't heard from her since August 2nd, despite paying in full and making several attempts to contact her.

Fortunately, Opalia in Brooklyn stepped in with only eight days to go, and did a fantastic job.

Still, I'd like my money back. So, small Claims Court it is.

P.S. Based on my experience and the ones noted here, I would strongly advise against hiring Gina to do your flowers.

Unfortunately, I couldn't attend Marbear's hearing due to a prior commitment, but if anyone needs a witness in the boroughs, I'm there.

Gina was supposed to do my 9/5 wedding. I started reading about her no-shows about two or three weeks prior. Despite several tries to contact her, I never heard back. So, I e-mailed that I had to consider it a breach of contract and we were hiring someone else. She never contacted me to acknowledge she received this.

It's now been over two months since I last heard from her. She owes me the entire balance for services undelivered, and has not acknowledged a single one of my attempts to contact her.

The kicker is, if her website is any indication, she's still attempting to do business. Which? Nuh-unh. Not if I can help it.

Has anyone called that number and pretended to be a new bride who wants to book with her? is she really taking on new clients?

This whole thing is ridiculous ... i can't wait until it finally gets resolved!

The arbitrators ruled in my favor! Got a judgment in the mail today against Gina -- she has to pay me in full, plus pay interest and filing fees! She has 30 days to pay. The courts moved pretty quickly on this one!
