Just so you know I am still working doing Weddings, now that I am out of the hospital. In to regards to your deposit it is non refundable . I still would be more than happy to do your wedding. Its your call. I am working things out with XXXX, it was a unfortunate things that happen with the brides. You want me to do your wedding I am here for you like I always was. So it is your choice. A lot of the stuff on the boards are lies and hearsay, did you ever read the good reviews??

doesn't this woman realize that just because her reviews were decent in the past doesn't mean that they will cover up all of these recent shenanigans - is she out of her mind. Gina let us put it into perspective for you - we are pretty sure you will never get another client that is a LIW member.

she is still doing weddings? didn't she not show up for the 5th? when did she start doing weddings again then? ask her that. how is it all hearsay if she keeps not showing up to weddings, and not emailing any of THOSE brides. to at least say sorry or here is your money back since I did not show up. like no one has anything better to do then just make up random lies about her. even if she was in the hospital what is her excuse for not emailing any of the brides she never showed up for?

Im thinking that if we want to help our fellow LIW JILTED BY GINA brides, we should do a timeline.
I just wont say this is completly acurate. This is what i have seen based on this thread. I will change or add or delete ANYTHING not correct. Im not having opinions about it, just putting it down in one place so we can add/take away etc.
Its how I see it going back through the posts. AND, It will help girls trying to sue her if they have a timeline. You can show she was not going to other weddings, and had reason to get your mony back.

So about my flowers. Gina never showed up. I never got a phone call, text, email, absolutely nothing yesterday. She just didn't come. It's shocking to me how she can email and text me just days before my wedding telling me that everything is all set and then just not show up. How can she assure me that she would be there and then screw me over like that?! It's a horrible horrible thing to do to someone! That is seriously f*cked up. Thank g-d I booked with B u r t o n s at the last minute. They were absolutely spectacular. They went above and beyond and I couldn't have been happier. I feel unbelievably fortunate to have had them do my wedding. Gina brides - I'll try to check here before I depart if you have any urgent questions for me.

I have not posted before but this is absolutely ridiculous and all girls need to know what is going on. I received the same email from Gina that all you ladies have received this past Sunday. I spoke with her on the phone on Monday and she went into her whole accident story again. However, I questioned her on it because she said she has been in the hospital for 10 days yet and just got back on Sunday - which makes no sense since the first wedding she missed was on August 21st (well before 10 days ago). She then said that she was home caring for her daughter before that time and was purposefully not responding to anyone because she 'deserved time off.' She is ABSOLUTELY lying to everyone. She said her mom was in Florida during this time so did not know where Gina was - another lie since many girls went to Gina's house and spoke with her mother. The more she spoke, the more inconsistent she was and dug herself deeper and deeper into a hole that by the end of the conversation she was screaming at the top of her lungs (pretty amazing for someone with a collapsed lung, right?). I hung up the phone on her because the conversation was going nowhere. I plan on filing a complaint in small claims court. If anyone has any emails from her from a couple of weeks ago with that same story, would you mind FM'ing me? Future brides....do not believe that she will show up at your wedding.

Sora 777 Its just odd that some brides said they went to her house and saw her daughter perfectly healthy. And that her mom and brother both told girls to go with another florist since they hadnt heard from her.
Tell her youd like to see a copy of the police report, and hospital discharge papers as proof of her story. I find it all kinda odd with such a 'horrific accident' that it didnt make any newspapers.

Okay, we received an email from the vendor. Other than a voice mail she left for Client Services stating the same thing as the email this is the only communication we have received and it came today.
First, I'd like to repeat that this is the only thread that should be used in regard to this situation. All others will be removed. Also, we are just posting the email we received. We have not and can not look into the claims of this email.
It was a horrible experience that I went through, and it is extremely sad and unfortunate that I am being attacked like this, even by brides that don’t know me. I was in a car accident with my daughter and ended up in the hospital. In regards to the two affairs that I missed due to this, I horribly regret what happened and am doing what I can to make it up to them. As for the comments on the site, I have been attacked with flagrant lies. Whether it be that I was in jail, my mother was in Florida, and so on. The girls that know me are well aware of the type person I am and the pride I take in doing each and every affair. I love my job and truly have a passion for it. I am truly heartbroken on the two affairs that I did not handle but for people to slam me and make judgements off of that is completely unfair. There are many, many girls out there who have raved over my past work and I intend to keep the girls happy going forward. Again, I truly apologize for what happened. t

No she hasnt, and that is what bugs me the most. Dont calm me down the Monday before my wedding and THEN not respond to any of my attempts to communicate days before it..its crazy I have proof, I have voicemails from her stating she will have assistants..
may i ask, what did you end up doing when you realized she would not show up to your wedding? did you have any flowers at all for your wedding?

Hey ladies,
As many of you know, I already filed in small claims court against Gina.
However, I also spoke with my cousin today who used to be an Assistant District Attorney. For all the girls whose weddings Gina missed, her keeping your money/deposits/whatever she wants to call it is stealing and she could be prosecuted criminally for larceny. Just throwing that out there in case any of you ladies want to go that route as well. I do not think I can file anything like that yet because she did not miss my wedding yet (which is why I am taking the civil route), but if anyone who has a missed wedding does decide to file criminally, I think Gina will have a lot more to worry about (her tan will not be so good when she is spending time in jail for stealing everyone's money).

I would assume that if she was still doing weddings she would need her vases, which i have 10 of plus shepards hooks and the vases needed to deliver the bouquets. I think my wedding was one of the last she did and I still have all the vases sitting on my porch..........if anyone talks to her ask her is she wants her stuff back please

People who have ripped off so many girls (obviously starting at the beginning of August if she never picked up vases from 8/6) she shouldnt be getting away with it. people give up to easily. good for you for filing or getting ready to file when she misses your date. irs so sad that a bride wouldnt have flowers on her wedding day.

not really...........i wasnt wowed but they were nice my guests liked them............my bouquet died before my reception was over, .....i took home a bm's bouquet and had knats in my house for days bc of the flowers. so did my mom who took home a centerpiece, i havent spoken to guests who took home flowers bc Im embarassed bc of the bugs. and i dont want to know.....i was very happy with my place card centerpiece which i created she just fixed up a bit

Oy!! Im SO glad i booked with another florist!! My wedding is 9/19, and i had been reading all about this for the past few weeks, & booked another vender because of it. Then on 9/6, after weeks! (i couldnt get in touch with her since late July) she called me saying she was sick and in the hospital but was now ready to do my wedding.
Lets just pretend thats true - Was i really supposed to sit around and hope that she'd call? i mean, she called 12 days before the wedding!! So i spoke to her and she said she was in an accident and all that and she was ready to do my wedding. I felt that since she was trying to fulfil the contract that i'd be unable to get the deposit back since it does say non refundable and now i was the one not wanting to do business with her.
One of the reasons this was all strange was that she told me all my flowers were already ordered - i find this hard to believe since we never finally settled on what my bridesmaid boquets were going to look like, the fact that i emailed her wanting different flowers for my own boquet, and that i wanted her to rework the centerpieces. What exactly did she order??
So i wound up going over there to collect the vases i ordered b/c shes spent my deposit on them. She gave me 16 5x5 square vases and a ton of BLUE crystals to put in the vases which is definitely NOT a color we discussed. Im doing an autumn colored theme & flowers. not sure where blue would fit in.
Blah. Me & FH just cut our loses and moved on. BUT if anyone wants to by some blue crystals and any of the 16 5x5 vases, let me know!
